Raceway Diner is one of the american restaurants listed in Yonkers, New York. The business is registered at 833 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip. This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

One of the best diners my husband and I have eaten at. We got there around 8:40is on a Sunday night. It was nice and quiet. The waitress was super attentive and nice. The food was delicious - holy moly i was not expecting the food to be soo good for a diner - down to the coleslaw, the food was good. My husband got a lamb gyro which he really enjoyed (he is a picky eater). I got a caprese panini. Both dishes came with fries, pickle, and coleslaw. The price were good too - which is a plus!!

We walked in and we were told to find our own seats. We had to get our own menus. Nobody came to help us. I asked the busboy to help. He rudely replied tell your server. We waited for over 10 minutes and nobody came. I finally went to the hostess and said our server hasnβt come by. Finally our waitress came over. We ordered. The food arrived, somewhat cold and barely edible. I took a few bites off everything on my plate. It was a breakfast plate for over $20. I didnβt like the taste and started to feel ill. When the waitress came over and asked how it was I told her it was terrible. She came back with my check after speaking to the manager. I assumed something would be taken off but instead she told me sheβd take my plate in the back and have the manager come to the back to look at how much I ate. Iβve never had that experience. I can see now it was probably what the manager told her to do. He said no stating I had eaten most of it, which I hadnβt. When I confronted him he said I waited too long to say something that it was at the end and the waitress had come by several times to ask if everything was okay. Another lie. He literally gaslit me. So I would highly recommend you skip

I drive 3000 miles to deliver to the casino across the street. I eat here everytime I'm in town. This time I had the Yankee pot roast and it was very good. Prior visits I had a burger and fries, also delicious. Fair price, great service. I'll be back.

I stumbled upon this hidden gem by accident it stood out . They have a very large selection of delightful π creative food and drink creations from wine to beer to white Russians π π let me make this clear they sell cakes whole, sliced, lols talk about jack of all trades its giving mini bakery. This atmosphere is interesting very pleasant. There was no wait when I arrived. The soup barley ,with basket of bread promptly came. I appreciate this location π very relaxing and welcoming the butter pared with the bread is amazing. I won't mind a toasted bread option. Soup barley what can I say not really my favorite however pairs well with the crackers. I figured I try something new, for some reason I assumed it was beef soup. The drink was delicious and very pleasant on the eyes. Then came the main course photos below let's see it was not bad I added salt pepper butter and parm its missing something maybe a truffle oil and or garlic. I would like to try this dish with shrimp π€ next time. I hope your experience here is amazing. Thank you. Attached below are photos. I recommend for a gathering as well keep in mind it is pretty pricy here however I am glad I came.

Pretty consistent over the years. A staple. Coffee is better than most diner coffees. Food is fair and the restaurant is clean. Waitstaff was very attentive. Will always return because itβs a reliable choice. If I remember correctly the burgers are pretty good a well.
